Sonny Detailing & Vehicle Restoration

This driver is a complete maniac on the road with zero regard for the safety of other drivers. They blatantly ran a red light (picture from my dash cam). Then they sped ahead, weaved in and out of traffic, and never used a turn signal once. Prior reviews have pointed out this dangerous driving. I hope they don't end up killing someone on the road.

We booked an appointment and paid up front online. The night before our appointment Sonny texted us that he had to cancel due to an issue with his son. No problem, we gave options for when we could reschedule and he choose a few days later. It turned out to be a beautiful day, 50 degrees and sunny in December. He no showed. We called him after it was supposed to have started and he said he couldn’t come. He rescheduled for the next day. By that time we were pretty pessimistic about whether he would show. No surprise, the morning of our appointment, he called and said because it was drizzling he could detail the car, but wouldn’t recommend it because he has to keep all 4 doors open the whole time and the car would get wet inside. We said he could use our carport so the car wouldn’t get wet. Then he said because there is moisture in the air, our rugs wouldn’t dry adequately and it would cause a mildew smell, and recommended we cancel. Yea thanks buddy, good thing you no showed when it was 50 degrees and sunny and also couldn’t make it another dry sunny day. He completely left us hanging with milkshake spilled in our car for a week.

I am home post hospitalization after having a brain bleed. My wife has been overworked taking care of me. We invited her brother for Christmas and needed the car detailed. They scheduled us then canceled. We rescheduled and agreed on a new time. They didn’t show up again. We agreed on today (one week from Christmas), then they canceled because it was raining. I then had to call them to make sure I got repaid on my credit card.

The man working there was very kind and respectful. I felt comfortable leaving my car with him. He texted me when the job was done after about 2 hours. The interior looks significantly cleaner now, and smells much nicer. The price was fair, and was able to leave with my car almost immediately. However, I did find some nooks and cracks in the seats that were still dirty. They're pretty hard to notice, so it's not that big of a deal. Also, the building itself was a bit of a surprise. It doesn't have a sign with the shop name at the front, so I wasn't sure I was at the right place when I first arrived. Additionally, there was some trash lying around on the inside. Overall, I would recommend this shop for anyone who wants their car interior cleaned. I will definitely be returning when I need their services again.
